Eating to the Glory of God

A grace-first approach to food, body & health for Christian women.

27 May 2026 · 44 min watch

Should you eat breakfast or fast until noon? Low-fat or full-cream? With so many conflicting messages, no wonder women feel confused. In this talk I'm not here to add to the noise — I want to look at food, body and health through a completely different lens. A lens of grace.

Drawing on thirteen years of clinical experience and a grace-first, faith-based framework, this is a generous, standalone teaching that walks through the major themes I keep returning to — why just eat better, just be better never works long-term, and what to do instead. It isn't a talk about food rules. It's about reframing the entire question.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God."
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

The thread running through all of it: care for yourself because you are already loved — not in order to become loved.

What we walk through

Identity in Christ and Return to the Manufacturer; breaking the diet cycle; Add, Don't Subtract and God's economy of addition; the three-tier goal system and the 80/20 plate; sacred rest; listening to your body; the Pause & Pray (HALT) check; the iceberg beneath emotional eating; Christ-sourced forgiveness; nourishing your family; and excellence, not perfection — closing on Matthew 6:25 and the quiet invitation to receive that, and then go and live it.
